Filtering Innovation with Croft Filters
When developing our subsurface energy technology, Geo-Engines identified a critical challenge: without effective filtration, our systems could be exposed to contaminants that risked performance under extreme conditions. To solve it, we partnered with Croft Filters, a UK-based specialist in custom filtration solutions.
Together, we designed and tested a new system capable of operating at up to 100 bar and capturing particles as small as 4–5 microns. The collaboration combined Croft’s materials expertise with Geo-Engines’ subsurface energy insights, proving that high-pressure gas filtration at this scale is possible.
While the project began as a feasibility study, it became a model of open innovation and cross-industry collaboration. The outcome wasn’t just technical success, it showed how strong partnerships can help advance clean energy technologies safely and reliably.
